The soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade are advancing in the Kharkiv region. Moreover, they are successfully reclaiming Ukrainian territories.
This was reported by the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.
"As a result of counter-offensive actions, the brigade took control of the battalion defense area of the occupiers, enemy platoon and company strongholds, and advanced nearly two square kilometers into the front line," the brigade reported.
The brigade commander, Colonel Andriy Biletsky, stated that the main objective of the operation was to reduce the offensive potential of Russia's 20th Army.
"At this moment, this objective has been accomplished," he noted.
The brigade also mentioned that within four days, the enemy lost three hundred personnel, and a significant amount of equipment and weaponry was destroyed or damaged.
"The uniqueness of the operation lay in the fact that we advanced against a superior enemy and won. Success depended on detailed planning, unconventional decisions, and coordinated work of artillery, air defense, UAVs, and reconnaissance. However, the heroes of the battlefield were the tankers, engineers, scouts, and, above all, the assault troops," said the brigade commander.
According to Biletsky, the ratio of forces on the battlefield was 2.5 to 1 in favor of the enemy.
The brigade commander explained that the assault actions diverted the enemy's strike from the Makiyivka direction and relieved pressure on other critical front areas in neighboring brigade sectors.
"Currently, the occupiers are intensifying the use of aviation, MLRS, and long-range artillery. The enemy is trying to regain the lost ground. But the 3rd Assault Brigade is holding its positions," Biletsky emphasized.
