The air defense forces destroyed 11 out of 17 Shahed-type attack drones that the Russians used to attack Ukraine overnight on February 8.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the Russian forces launched an attack using Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from Cape Chauda in Crimea.

Air defense missile units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.

"As a result of the combat work, 11 Shaheds were destroyed within the territory of Mykolaiv, Odessa, Vinnytsia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions," the statement said.
