The air defense forces neutralized 40 out of 45 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine on the night of February 11.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force in Telegram.
The Russian forces launched the attack with 45 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the Balaklava and Cape Chauda regions in Crimea.
Air defense units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and Defense Forces of Ukraine, as well as electronic warfare assets, were deployed to repel the aerial assault.
As a result of the combat operations, 40 Shahed drones were destroyed within the territories of Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions.
