On the night of August 3, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Morozovsk airfield (Rostov region, Russia), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"There were hits on ammunition depots, which contained, among other things, guided aerial bombs. Information about the damage to the enemy's air defense systems and aviation equipment is being clarified," the report states.

According to the General Staff, the operation was carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine and the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Additionally, the Defense Forces attacked several oil depots and storage facilities for fuel and lubricants belonging to the Russian occupiers in the Belgorod, Kursk, and Rostov regions.

There is information about hits and subsequent fires in at least two fuel tanks.
