Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk discussed possible cooperation on the reintegration of war veterans with representatives of the Belgian state development agency Enabel.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Occupied Territories of Ukraine on Telegram.
"The agency plans to start operations in Ukraine. Therefore, an Enabel delegation arrived in Kyiv to determine priorities in Ukraine. The parties discussed possible cooperation on the reintegration of internally displaced persons and war veterans. Specifically, the agency is considering the idea of establishing veteran centers and bomb shelters in schools," the statement said.
The Ministry of Reintegration notes that the meeting was a result of Vereshchuk's working visit to Brussels in April this year.
In addition to representatives from the Belgian agency and the Ministry of Reintegration, representatives from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs were also present at the meeting.
