Russian forces shelled Mykolaiv on the morning of February 7th.
This information was reported by the Telegram channel of Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych and the State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv Region on Facebook.
This morning, Russians attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed drones and missiles. As a result of the strikes, around 20 residential buildings were damaged.
The State Emergency Service reported that as a result of the attack, the private residential sector was affected. It is known that at least 20 buildings were damaged, and fires broke out.
Additionally, an infrastructure object in Mykolaiv was damaged, leading to a fire. Local authorities reported one injured person, who was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, the man passed away in the intensive care unit.
Over 40 rescuers and 6 units of SES equipment are currently working to eliminate the consequences.
