The situation in the Kharkiv region remains challenging. The defense forces have managed to stabilize the situation, particularly in the city of Vovchansk.

Nazar Voloshyn, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army Khortytsia, made this statement during a telethon broadcast.

"Currently, the situation and operational environment in Kharkiv remain challenging, and it is dynamically changing. However, our defense forces and all involved units have managed to stabilize the situation, especially in the city of Vovchansk," he said.

Voloshyn added that the Russians continue their attempts to break through the defense of our units near Lyptsi, Vovchansk, and Starytsia.

"The invaders combine ground assaults with aviation strikes. They use aviation precisely to launch missile and bomb attacks on Kharkiv and other populated areas in the region," he stated.

The Khortytsia spokesperson further mentioned that on the Kharkiv direction, the Russians carried out 83 attacks the previous day, and by morning of today, there have been 5 skirmishes.

"I must note that the number of skirmishes with the enemy has decreased by almost half compared to the previous day. The enemy continues its attempts to concentrate its efforts on the Strilecha, Lyptsi, and the captured city of Vovchansk, with further advancement towards Bilyi Kolodyaz and launching an offensive precisely behind our troops' lines," he emphasized.

Voloshyn added that near the borders, the Russians have created and significantly reinforced operational-tactical groups of forces.

"However, our defense forces hold their ground, trying to displace the occupying forces towards the settlement of Hlyboke and in the area of Vovchansk, where the enemy intended to establish itself precisely in residential areas. However, our defenders are doing everything possible and are not allowing them to do so," he stated.
