The EU has reacted to the missile strike by Russian forces on Odessa, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of people.
Peter Stano, the spokesperson for foreign affairs of the European Commission, tweeted about this (X). He described today's Russian attack as "heinous & deadly hit on civilian targets."
"Another show of the barbaric nature of Putin's aggression. All responsible will be held to account," Stano emphasized.
On March 15, Russian forces launched missiles "Iskander-M" at Odessa. As a result of the strike, 20 people were killed, and 73 were injured. The city's gas and electricity supply infrastructure was damaged, leaving hundreds of subscribers without power and gas.
On March 16, a day of mourning was declared in the Odessa region.
