The first industrial park received 150 million UAH in funding under the state programme to stimulate the development of industrial parks within the "Made in Ukraine" policy, according to the Ministry of Economy's press service.

The programme provides funding of up to 150 million UAH for the construction of necessary infrastructure. The funds are provided on a non-repayable basis, covering up to 50% of the estimated cost of works such as land development or the construction of engineering and transportation infrastructure.

The programme also includes compensation for up to 50% of the cost of connecting to the power grid. For de-occupied territories, the state covers 80% of the cost.

The first funds were allocated to an industrial park in the city of Dnipro. The park's management company requested 150 million UAH out of the required 326.9 million UAH for the construction of a transformer substation.

The programme supports investment in the real sector by offering investors assistance, who in return create new jobs and pay taxes. Calculations show that 1 hectare of an industrial park can create 50 new jobs, and every $1 of state investment in industrial park infrastructure attracts $6 of additional private investment.

The programme includes safeguards and strict requirements for applicants, ensuring effective use of funds. Applicants must build at least 5,000 square meters of industrial buildings within three years and attract at least two participants to the park.

Additionally, the funding is managed through escrow accounts in state banks, allowing applicants to choose the most convenient bank for their needs.

For the first time this year, funds were allocated in the state budget to stimulate industrial parks, with a total of 1 billion UAH earmarked for the programme in Ukraine's budget.
