The first suspect in the murders in Bucha - the commander of the National Guard of Russia Sergei Kolotsei, announced Iryna Venediktova, Prosecutor General.
This photo became one of the symbols of the atrocities in Bucha - the bodies of executed civilians with their hands tied behind their backs on Yablunska Street. Three victims, the fourth killed in the frame, did not get in the photo. Three had gunshot wounds to the head, and a fourth man was shot in the internal organs and skeleton. They all fell victim to the invaders.
In the second photo - the commander of division of Management of federal service of troops of national guard of the Russian Federation of the Ulyanovsk region. At the Belarusian post office, he and his fellow servicemen send loot taken from the houses of our compatriots. His "gift" from Ukraine to Ulyanovsk - the hood of the trunk.
Bucha prosecutors and police found that it was the soldier who killed four unarmed men in Bucha on March 18. On March 29, he tortured another civilian by confessing to his subversive activities against the Russian army. He took a pro-Ukrainian local resident to the basement, where he beat him with his hands, a machine gun and a knife guard, made him sniff a dead body. The man was taken to the place of execution, where he was shot near his ear while imitating the massacre. A separate perverted form of bullying and intimidation of the victim forced him to sniff a dead person.
Based on the collected evidence, the testimony of the victim, and portrait examination, prosecutors of the Bucha District Prosecutor's Office informed the Rosguard about the suspicion of ill-treatment of civilians and other violations of laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 1.2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code).
The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by the Bucha District Department of the National Police in the Kyiv Region, and the Department is carrying out operational support for the Protection of the Interests of Society and the State of the National Police of Ukraine.
