The Ukrainian defense forces have managed to decrease the intensity of Russian force's offensive actions in the Avdiivka direction. In this area, the Russian forces are compelled to localize their attacks and continues to incur significant personnel and equipment losses during their assaults.
This information was reported by the Deputy Commander of the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Maxim Zhorin.
"At the moment, we have managed to slightly reduce the dynamics of enemy offensive actions in the Avdiivka direction. They cannot advance across the entire front and are forced to localize their attacks," he said.
However, the military officer notes that the aggressors do not cease their attempts to advance in this front sector.
"Moreover, if we have long been accustomed to them disregarding personnel losses - now they don't give a damn about equipment losses either," Zhorin said.
According to him, "a crazy amount" of both infantry and equipment is being destroyed daily, but "this does not significantly affect the Russian's plans."
