The Russian invaders are deporting the inhabitants of the Left Bank of the Kherson region since many of them help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and do not lean towards the enemy.

Yuri Sobolevsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, said this during a briefing. "The people who live near the Dnieper are under extreme pressure to evacuate. The invaders want to make a dead zone, because their units are deployed there, which, among other things, shell our territory. They understand that a large percentage of our people help the Armed Forces of Ukraine, provide information, coordinates," Sobolevsky noted.

According to him, the left-bank part of the Kherson region is constantly under filtering procedures, searching, and checking phones and vehicles.

"It is tough for our people there. On the left-bank part of the Kherson region, the situation is approaching the state of a humanitarian catastrophe. We have confirmed information about the intention to close medical institutions, in particular, seven hospitals, to turn them into military hospitals. We are talking about Kakhovka, Nova Kakhovka, Oleshky, and others. Their equipment has already been partially taken out either to Genichesk or Novotroitskoe. There are still some hours of the reception, and some doctors seem to remain, but in fact, medical care is no longer provided," stated the Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council.

In addition, according to him, some enterprises refused to work due to the pressure of the occupiers, so there were problems with the supply of essentials.

"The invaders are psychologically putting pressure on people to leave for the territory of the Russian Federation. They are not at all interested in our population remaining in the Kherson region in their territories. The invaders realized they would not be able to get the population's support, no matter what they did. They have already tried to bribe these people, constant pressure and terror also do not work. Therefore, someone there decided that the deportation of the population would be right for them. These processes are constantly taking place, their occupiers do not turn off," Sobolevsky emphasized.
