Advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that the occupiers are increasing patrols and mobilization measures in the city.
He shared this information during an interview on Espresso.
"Mariupol is under increased control by the OMON from St. Petersburg. They are constantly stationed in the city. The Russian National Guard (Rosgvardia) and Cossacks are also present in the city. They are all based on the territory of the Illich Steel and Iron Works. They are involved in controlling the city and providing escort. In particular, they escort camouflaged civilian trucks transporting ammunition to the Berdyansk direction and vice versa," Andriushchenko explained.
According to Andriushchenko, the occupiers have intensified mobilization measures.
"The OMON and Rosgvardia are also involved in mobilization measures on the territory of Mariupol, and it concerns those they call migrants. They search for migrants in multi-story buildings and private houses, whom they then take to the military commissariat. After that, these migrants strangely disappear," he added.
