The total market value of these land plots, covering an area of 5 hectares, exceeds 40 million hryvnias.

They were illegally appropriated by the Sports Society of Military Hunters and Fishermen of the Eastern Region of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Despite its name, this society is a non-governmental organization and has no affiliation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The lands were used by commercial entities after being transferred by local authorities in 2013.

Over time, the case went through several court instances, and only in March 2024 did the Eastern Appellate Commercial Court decide to reclaim the land plots from illegal possession and transfer them to state ownership through the Ministry of Defense.

The registration of property rights to these land plots by the Ministry of Defense has been successfully completed. Now, the shooting range areas can be used for training shooting exercises by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
