The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in collaboration with the Victory Drones project, is launching a recruitment campaign for UAV operators. Ukrainians interested in becoming UAV operators can apply at Ukrainian army recruitment centers.

According to the Ministry of Defense, anyone aged 18 and above, even without prior experience, can apply to become an operator. They need to apply at the recruitment center, where assistance will be provided in filling out the application. Additionally, individuals can visit with a draft notice for data clarification.

Oleksiy Bezhovets, a representative of the Ministry of Defense on recruitment matters, explained that prospective UAV operators must first complete online courses. If the results are satisfactory, they can proceed to the next stage.

"At this point, the individual interacts directly with Victory Drones experts, commits to joining the Armed Forces after training, and engaging in their professional activities. Ultimately, the individual learns to operate UAVs on training grounds and signs a contract," said Bezhovets.

The project Victory Drones will conduct a multi-stage free training program online and offline, lasting a month. In the final stage, candidates will prepare for military service under contract in their chosen military unit. They will then undergo basic military training.

"The training will not be limited to just piloting skills for the primary types of UAVs. It will include tactical medicine, psychological support in stressful situations, and self-regulation. We will select the best of the best. Each specialist who completes the training will serve in this particular profession," added Igor Borokhovych, the head of Victory Drones training.
