The Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to join the post-war population census and draw information from registers to simplify the process. Deputy Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science, and Technologies - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov talked about this on the telethon "Edyny Novyni".
"After our victory, it will be necessary to conduct a population census accurately. But we have completely rethought the approach to this. And we understand that a lot of information can be obtained thanks to verification in the registers, so as not to drag our citizens and not to ask what can already be seen thanks to the depersonalized synchronization of certain registers," the government official said.
According to him, the Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to involve Apple in the population census.
"This will be one of the most modern and innovative censuses in the world," Fedorov added.
The all-Ukrainian population census, planned to be held in 2023, will take place by the war's end.
