The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) is launching the world's first open database of foreign components in Russian weapons. The database, named "War and Sanctions," currently includes over 2,000 components used by Russia and Iran in missiles, drones, electronic warfare systems, and various other types of weaponry and military equipment.
In a statement from the agency's press service, it is emphasized that:
"Thousands of electronic components, intended to improve life and contribute to development, are being turned into weapons for killing by Russia and Iran. Tracking their path from manufacturers to the hands of killers is a massive task for any government agency. However, this challenge is within the reach of thousands of journalists, investigators, customs officials, bankers, consultants, and many others who strive for justice and peace. With this data now public, everyone can contribute to global security," stated by Alexander Novikov, the Chairman of NAPC.
The description of each component includes the manufacturer, the type of weaponry in which it is utilized, and its technical specifications.
