The new industrial park BORSCHIV will specialize in the deep processing of agricultural products, creating around 1,500 jobs and investing in the region's economy. The initiators of the creation of the industrial park expect these results in Ternopil region. On April 23, the Government adopted a decision to include this industrial park in the Register of Industrial Parks.
"The development of production based on industrial parks is an important component of the 'Made in Ukraine' economic policy. I remind you that we are launching a program for the development of industrial parks, and this year, the state budget allocates 1 billion hryvnias for its implementation. A comprehensive approach to supporting and promoting initiatives to create parks, including local authorities, will allow us to simultaneously address a whole range of issues: creating jobs, developing the local economy, increasing revenues to budgets at all levels. And most importantly, by promoting the development of high value-added production, we are building a strong foundation for strengthening and qualitatively transforming Ukraine's economy," said Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Vitaliy Kindratiy.
The creation of the industrial park BORSCHIV was initiated by the Borschiv City Council. It is envisaged that on the territory of the park, covering an area of ââ30 hectares, enterprises will operate in the production of flour and cereals, oils, protein mixtures, flour products, semi-finished products (including long-term storage bakery semi-finished products), production of fruit and berry products, meat and dairy products, processing and packaging of vegetables, fruits, and berries.
Also, the park will carry out the processing of medicinal herbs. The products of such production will be further used in the pharmaceutical, perfumery-cosmetic, food, and alcoholic beverage industries.
Participants in the park will also include enterprises specializing in the production of building materials, products from gypsum, drywall, construction mixtures, manufacturing of wooden products, furniture, and more.
Currently, together with BORSCHIV, 78 industrial parks are already included in the Register of Industrial Parks.
