In Odessa region, in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, a missile strike on a lyceum killed two people and injured 14.

This was reported to journalists by Marina Averina, spokesperson for the State Emergency Service in Odessa region.

“As a result of the enemy attack on the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, the educational institution suffered significant damage, and a fire broke out. Currently, two people are confirmed dead and at least 14 injured, including two teenagers who were passing by the school at the moment of the strike,” Averina said.

 

Psychologists from the State Emergency Service are working on-site, and canine units have also been deployed. Information regarding people trapped under the rubble varies, according to Averina. Search operations are ongoing.

More than 50 rescuers of the State Emergency Service are involved.
