The new party in Germany, "Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance," has called for an end to the supply of military aid to Ukraine. This information is reported by DW.
In a document prepared by "Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance," there is a demand for the German government to cease the supply of weapons to Ukraine. The document's authors believe that this action will encourage Russia to engage in negotiations for ending the war.
The party contends that to ensure lasting peace and security in Europe, it is necessary to involve Russia in a long-term European peace order. The party has called for the resumption of importing Russian energy resources, restrictions on migration to Germany, and the lifting of sanctions against Moscow.
"Sarah Wagenknecht Alliance" criticizes the European Union and advocates for member states to have more authority. Additionally, the party seeks a "moratorium on EU expansion," outright rejecting negotiations regarding the accession of Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia to the European Union.
The leader of the party, Sarah Wagenknecht, has expressed support for Russia and was previously the leader of The Left party in the Bundestag.
