On the night of September 4th, Russian occupiers attacked the Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions with the strike drones 'Shahed-136/131.'
According to the Air Force, the launch of kamikaze drones was carried out from the south and southeast directions (Cape Chauda, Crimea, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia).
"A total of 32 'Shahed' launches have been recorded, which attacked the Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk regions. With the efforts and resources of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 23 enemy strike drones were destroyed. Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, and mobile fire support units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were used," the statement said.
In Odessa region a mass night attack with strike drones of the 'Shahed-136' type was aimed at the civilian infrastructure of the Danube region.
17 drones were shot down by air defense forces. Unfortunately, there were hits as well. In several settlements of the Izmail district, warehouses and production buildings, agricultural machinery, and industrial equipment were damaged. Additionally, due to debris falling as a result of the downing, several fires occurred on the territory of civilian objects. As of 7:00 AM, the fires have been extinguished.
There have been no reports of casualties.
