The Russian pilot from the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division handed over data about his colleagues to Ukrainian intelligence. They are responsible for regularly shelling Ukrainian cities with X-101 missiles.
RBK-Ukraine reported this information based on an informed source. According to the source, a pilot from the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division, unit 06987 based at Engel's airbase, contacted Ukrainian military intelligence directly.
The Russian pilot wrote to a Ukrainian intelligence chatbot stating that he and several of his colleagues were shocked by the strike on a children's hospital and did not understand why they were being ordered to attack civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. As a result, he decided to pass documents related to his military unit's activities and private photos of the command staff of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division to the Ukrainian side.
According to the source, even preliminary analysis of the obtained materials shows their extraordinary importance. Among the provided information are personal files of senior officers, personal data of Russian military personnel and their families. The most valuable are classified documents of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division.
