While defending Ukraine's territorial integrity and independence, the son of the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Matityahu (Anton) Samborsky, was killed.
This was reported on Facebook by the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Asman.
"Tomorrow, a farewell ceremony for my son Matityahu (Anton), who was killed on the front line defending Ukraine, will be held at the Central Synagogue," the message reads.
The farewell for the son of the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe Asman, and Rebbetzin Chana Matityahu (Anton) Samborsky, will take place on September 12 at 13:00 at the Central Synagogue in Kyiv, located at 13 Shota Rustaveli Street.
After the farewell, a procession will be organized for the burial at the Jewish cemetery.
