The son of the head of "Rosneft" Igor Sechin, Ivan, has died at the age of 35, reported by one of the former leaders of Yukos, Leonid Nevzlin, citing a record in the inheritance registry.
According to the registry, Ivan Sechin died on February 5. His death was not publicly announced.
"Mediazona" writes that it verified the record in the registry and confirmed that it was issued for Ivan Igorevich Sechin, born in 1989, who lived in Moscow at 3 Shvedsky Lane. RBC referred to this building as the "house for Putin's associates" and stated that Igor Sechin lived there.
The death of Ivan Sechin is also reported by an anonymous Telegram channel "VCHK-OGPU". The source of the channel claims that the official cause of Sechin Jr.'s death was allegedly cited as a "detached thrombus."
According to leaks from Russian databases, Ivan Sechin worked at "Rosneft" and declared an income of 61.8 million rubles in 2021. It is known that he held a managerial position in the company since 2014, when he was 25 years old.
In January 2015, the 26-year-old Sechin was awarded the Order of "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree medal "for his significant contribution to the development of the fuel and energy complex and many years of conscientious work."
