The session took place in closed mode, allowing only representatives from the Russian Ministry of Justice, who filed the lawsuit.

Now, in Russia, individuals can be imprisoned and sentenced to 10 years in a colony for participating in the activities and financing of LGBT organizations, providing them with services, and even disseminating information about the LGBT movement, including on social media.

The legal operation of organizations assisting the LGBT community will become impossible since challenging the court's decision is no longer an option. Some experts believe that this poses a threat to ordinary LGBT individuals.

Currently, imprisonment or the death penalty is a threat to the LGBT community in countries such as Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Mauritania, Uganda, Nigeria, and dozens of other countries in Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
