The Ukrainian military has fortified its positions along the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.
This was reported on Friday, November 17, by the Command of the Marine Infantry of the Ukrainian Navy.
As a result of pre-planned measures to counter Russian aggression, Ukrainian military conducted a series of successful actions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson direction.
"Thanks to the actions of Ukrainian marine infantry, in collaboration with other units of the Defense Forces, they managed to secure positions on several platforms. During the battles, Russian occupiers suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment," the statement reads.
Specifically, since the beginning of the mentioned measures, the enemy has lost: personnel - 1216 killed and 2217 wounded, 24 tanks, 89 artillery systems and mortars, 135 units of various types of vehicles, 48 units of combat armored vehicles, including APCs and BMPs. Additionally, 9 MLRS, 14 amphibious vehicles, 15 units of special equipment, 4 command posts, 29 ammunition depots, both field and stationary, were destroyed.
"Additionally, the combined electronic warfare (REB) unit of the marine infantry neutralized 135 FPV drones and 5 tactical-level UAVs," the statement reads.
Currently, Ukrainian marine infantry is engaging in fire attacks against units of Russian occupying forces on the left bank of Kherson region.
