Tonight in southern Ukraine, five enemy kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type were shot down by air defense forces. As a result of the drones' wreckage falling, a fire broke out at an infrastructure facility.

Military officials noted that Russian strike drones were shot down in their area of responsibility in two regions: Mykolaiv and Vinnytsia. Four "Shaheds" were eliminated in the Mykolaiv region, and one in Vinnytsia.
"As a result of the wreckage falling, a fire broke out in the open territory of the infrastructure object. The fire was promptly extinguished," the statement said.
The Southern Defense Forces added that no one was injured in the incident.
Overall, the enemy drone attack in the south of the country was repelled for over 3.5 hours.
