On September 4, Ukrainian Defense Intelligence cyber specialists, in collaboration with the VO Team, executed a significant cyberattack on Russian infrastructure. This was reported to RBK-Ukraine by sources within the intelligence agencies.

The attack targeted major entities including Lukoil, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, and the Central Bank of Russia.

The operation resulted in extensive damage, including the destruction of 18 servers beyond recovery and compromise of the infrastructure of "Antena," which provides services to numerous governmental and commercial entities involved in supporting Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

The attack also wiped configurations from 598 network switches (D-Link, Mikrotik, Ubiquiti WiFi) of the main provider and 389 devices of a sub-provider, disrupting internet and digital television services in Ivanovo Oblast for over 13,000 users. Key targets affected included:
