Ukrainian reconnaissance forces have struck a fuel depot at the "Atlas" plant in the Rostov region, resulting in a large-scale fire. RBC-Ukraine reports, citing its own sources.
"As a result of an operation by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine using UAVs, a fuel and lubricants depot on the territory of the 'Atlas' plant of the Federal Agency for State Reserves of Russia near Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in Rostov region was struck," the publication was informed.
Sources indicate that the strike was carried out with 15 Obsidian drones of the Nayan project.
According to Russian media and social networks, several fuel storage tanks were hit, leading to a fire at the base.
As of the morning of August 3, the fire at the plant continues, and detailed results of the operation are still being assessed.
According to sources in Ukrainian intelligence, the depot supplies fuel and lubricants for Russian military units and divisions stationed in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
