The 29-year-old athlete from Lutsk, Yana Belomoina, triumphed in the elite category among women, showing a time of 01:13:47 and bypassing the Italian Giada Spice and the host of the competition, the Slovenian Tanya Jakel.
It should be noted that for Yana Belomoina this is the first victory of the season and the second podium in 2022 after the "silver" in the Slovenian Vrtojba.
In addition, Ukrainian Oleksandr Hudyma won the "bronze" award in the men's competition. The cyclist was third with a score of 01:28:57, second only to Italians Daniele Bridot and Filippo Fontani. For the third time this season, Hudyma is winning bronze at the international level. He has previously won medals of this kind in Vrtoiba and Brazilian Petropolis.
Ukrainians Maria Sukhopalova and Bohdan Chynchyk also became vice-champions in the junior categories under 19. Anastasia Rubanenko won bronze in the under-17 category.
We will add that Belomoina is the "bronze" winner of the 2015 World Cup and the 2017 European Cross-Country Champion.
