As of 2024, the UKRNAFTA network, along with Glusco gas stations under state management, has reached a market share of 7-8%.
This was reported by Serhiy Fedenko, the commercial director of PJSC Ukrnafta, in an interview with Delo.ua.
"We have a unique situation. In 2023 and the first half of 2024, we increased sales at our gas stations in a declining market. We have grown in fuel retail. If in 2022 the network covered 2.5-3% of the market, in 2023 the share grew to 4.8-5%, and now the market share of the UKRNAFTA network is 6.8-7%. Together with Glusco gas stations, we cover 7-8% of the fuel retail market," noted Serhiy Fedenko. "This now corresponds to our number of stations. Previously, the average sales at our gas stations were lower than the market average."
According to the top manager, from 2016 to 2021, the network constantly decreased daily sales at gas stations, but it is now actively growing.
"We have already bounced back and want to achieve the average annual fuel sales figures of 2016 this year or next," emphasized Fedenko.
It is worth noting that the Ukrnafta network currently has 545 gas stations—460 owned and 85 under management.
