Opponents are transporting tanks on tractors through the center of Mariupol, an adviser to the mayor shared.
In Mariupol and the Mariupol region, an intensification of the movement of equipment of the occupiers is recorded.
A transport collapse occurred in the city due to the ban on the movement of trucks across the Crimean (Kerch) bridge, Petr Andryushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, said in his Telegram channel.
âWe fix the increased movement of equipment in Mariupol and the Mariupol region. Through the city center to the exit to Magush, tanks on tractors and manpower on trucks. Everything is marked V. From today, the movement of occupiers' equipment is accompanied by the installation of mobile checkpoints and operational measures for "cleansing" - random checks of documents and phones," he said.
Andryushchenko added that the number of accidents in Mariupol has rapidly increased due to the priority given to the invaders during a sudden passage.
"The ban on the movement of trucks across the Crimean bridge led to a transport collapse in the city. 20-ton and 40-ton trucks without any hesitation are moving through the whole city â¦", the mayor's adviser added.
- Recall that the Russian invaders invaded Ukraine early on February 24, fired at military and civilian facilities, and seized settlements. The enemy captured Mariupol in late May after encountering heroic resistance from the Ukrainian defenders. Opponents almost completely destroyed the city, killing tens of thousands of people.
