The U.S. State Department plans to dispatch an advisor to the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.

This information is mentioned in a statement from the White House following the first day of the Conference on the Defense-Industrial Base of Ukraine.

The statement outlines that the purpose of this initiative is to support and accelerate Ukraine's transition to operationally compatible armed forces, combat corruption, and attract foreign investments in critically important industrial sectors.

Furthermore, the White House has announced the formation of an interagency group consisting of representatives from the State Department, the Pentagon, and the U.S. Department of Commerce. This group will support Ukrainian partners in potential operations and export requirements for Ukraine's defense industry.

It's worth noting that the White House has made a statement regarding the strengthening of cooperation between the defense-industrial bases of the United States and Ukraine.

The statement mentions that Ukraine and the U.S. have signed a letter of intent regarding joint production and exchange of technical information aimed at meeting the urgent operational needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This includes areas such as air defense systems, repair and technical servicing, as well as the production of critically important munitions.

On the eve, the United States announced the provision of another military assistance package to Ukraine in the amount of 175 million dollars.
