The Russian private military company Wagner announced on Sunday, October 29, that it will officially come under the command of the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardia) and will return to the war in Ukraine. This announcement was made in the official Telegram channel of the Wagner Private Military Company.
It is noted that all members of the Wagner PMC were offered individual contracts, with the alternative being "continued work under the existing conditions." At the same time, the entire structure of the Wagner PMC, its operational procedures, and commanders will not change.
"From the ground up, a new base for the Wagner Group is being established in the Eastern Military District, and the units are preparing for operations in the 'near' proximity (6 months). Assignments for 'far' operations (9 months) and Belarus remain unchanged. Payment will continue to be made to individual bank accounts. Support, medical treatment, and rehabilitation will be provided in the same manner as for the personnel of the Russian National Guard (Rosgvardia)." - as stated in the message.
