The World Illustration Awards 2024 has nominated works by 4 Ukrainian illustrators

Masha Foya, Sergiy Maydukov, Olesia Sekeresh, and Mari Kinovich have made it to the longlist of the prestigious World Illustration Awards 2024. The longlist of nominees was published on the website of the British Association of Illustrators. The jury selected the following works for participation:

  • Masha Foya's illustrations "Adobe Creative Residency site" in the Advertising category.

  • Sergiy Maydukov's cover for the book "Russian Colonialism" (IST Publishing) in the Book Covers category;

  • Sergiy Maydukov's illustration "The Story of Wartime Kyiv" for the book "I Will Show You How It Was: The Story of Wartime Kyiv" by Illia Ponomarenko (Bloomsbury Publishing) in the Book Covers category;

  • Mari Kinovich's cover "Our. Common." for the book of the same name by Tania Kasyan (Laboratory Publishing) in the Book Covers category;

  • Olesia Sekeresh's illustrations for Vasyl Karp'juk's book "The Marvelous Carpathian Story" (Discursus Publishing) in the Children's Publishing category.

Additionally, the longlist in the Advertising category includes an illustration by Ukrainian-born artist currently residing in Israel, Svetlana Dorosheva, titled "Realms of Imagination."

The World Illustration Awards, founded by the AOI (Association of Illustrators), welcomes submissions from both established and emerging illustrators.
