A new Feednova Center plant has broken ground in the Zvenyhorod community of the Cherkasy region, set to become one of Ukraine’s largest producers of high-protein feed additives and animal fats. The total investment in the project amounts to UAH 649.8 million (around EUR 14.4 million).
The facility marks a major step in strengthening Ukraine’s agricultural and industrial base, particularly in livestock and value-added production. Its output — feed additives and animal fats — is expected to meet strong domestic demand while targeting export markets in the EU, the Middle East, and Asia.
The Ministry of Economy has confirmed the feasibility of the project, and a government order for signing the state–investor agreement is currently under review. The deal is expected to be finalized soon.
“Feednova Center is an example of how government support, private investment, and strategic vision can come together to create competitive production in Ukraine,” said Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture. “Even during wartime, Ukrainian investors are demonstrating confidence in the country’s economy by investing in high-tech processing. Enterprises like Feednova Center are the foundation of recovery — driving regional growth, job creation, and the ‘Made in Ukraine’ industrial policy.”
Deputy Minister Taras Vysotskyi emphasized that the plant’s launch underscores both business confidence and environmental responsibility.
“Ukrainian companies are not only surviving in difficult conditions — they are expanding, investing in modern production, and ensuring veterinary and sanitary stability in the region. Feednova Center represents sustainable development and responsible business practice,” he noted.
Feednova Center will also become the first Ukrainian project to receive state compensation for the construction of engineering and transport infrastructure, with support totaling UAH 172.1 million expected in 2025.
