Ukraine's trade turnover for the first quarter of 2024 amounted to $26 billion, according to a post by the State Customs Service on Facebook.
During January-March 2024, Ukraine imported goods worth $16 billion and exported goods worth $10 billion.
The top three export items from Ukraine were:
- Food products - $6.5 billion
- Metals and metal products - $1.1 billion
- Mineral products - $924 million
The largest export destinations from Ukraine were Poland - $992 million, Spain - $813 million, and China - $789 million.
Among the total volumes of goods imported into Ukraine in January-March 2024, the following categories accounted for 65%:
- Machinery, equipment, and transport - $5.3 billion
- Chemical industry products - $3 billion
- Fuel and energy products - $2 billion
The top countries from which Ukraine imported goods were China - $3 billion, Poland - $1.6 billion, and Germany - $1.3 billion.
