President Volodymyr Zelensky has extended until January 30, 2025, the visa-free regime for the entry into Ukraine and transit through the territory of Ukraine for citizens of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. The corresponding document, No. 8/2024, has been published on the website of the Head of State.
"To partially amend Article 1 of the decree of the President of Ukraine dated January 29, 2020, No. 28/2020, 'On the temporary introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland' (with amendments made by decrees dated January 28, 2021, No. 28/2021, January 14, 2022, No. 12/2022, and January 2, 2023, No. 1/2023), to extend the visa-free regime for the entry into Ukraine and transit through the territory of Ukraine for citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, if their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days within 180 days, until January 30, 2025," the document states.
This decree takes effect from the date of its publication.
