A tranche of unconditional funding (Pre-financing) amounting to €1.9 billion from the European Union has been received in the State Budget of Ukraine. The funds are provided through the EU financial instrument, Ukraine Facility.

"Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the EU has provided Ukraine with nearly €35 billion in direct budgetary assistance. These funds have helped maintain macroeconomic stability and enable the financing of priority budget needs. The EU is a key partner for Ukraine, continuing to play a crucial role in accelerating our victory and strengthening the country's economic resilience," stated Ukraine's Finance Minister, Serhii Marchenko.

It is worth noting that Ukraine and the European Union recently signed an agreement totaling €27 billion for 2024-2027 within the framework of the Ukraine Facility Instrument.

Future tranches under this instrument will be received quarterly, subject to the fulfillment of the indicators defined in Ukraine's Plan.
