Ukraine has provided NATO countries with all available information regarding the involvement of North Korean military personnel in the war between Russia and Ukraine and has requested that the intelligence communities of NATO member states share relevant data.
This was stated by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov during a briefing in Brussels.
"We provided them with evidence and expressed our willingness to exchange information. We would also be happy to receive information from our partners in the IP4 (the Indo-Pacific Quad - South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan) regarding North Korea and will provide our information in return. We made it clear that we already have some evidence, meaning we exchanged views and requested that intelligence agencies share their data now," Umerov said.
The day before, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that North Korean officers are already present in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and are training Russian soldiers.
