There is no need to talk about peace or at least a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine yet. And Western countries are obligated to continue to support Ukraine, particularly militarily, to help the Ukrainians win.
Peace will come only when the Russian Federation suffers a crushing defeat, and war criminals from Russia are brought to justice. This was stated by Estonian President Alar Karis before leaving for Latvia, where the summit of the heads of state of the Joint Expeditionary Force will take place on December 19, writes ERR.
According to the publication, the focus of attention of the meeting participants will be Russia's aggression against Ukraine, regional security, and the strengthening of collective defense in NATO.
Before leaving for the Latvian capital Riga, where the meeting will take place, the President of Estonia made a statement to the press. He stressed that there is no need to talk about any peace or ceasefire on the territory of Ukraine yet.
The most important thing is to provide military assistance to Ukraine so that the country wins this war.
Alar Karis
He is convinced that only a crushing defeat for Russia can guarantee European peace and security.
Peace is possible only when aggression is completely defeated, and war criminals are brought to justice.
