Ukraine remains one of the main suppliers of agricultural products to the European Union.
This is evidenced by the data for the eight months of 2023 presented in the report of the European Commission.
Thus, from January to August, Ukraine took the third place in terms of volumes of agricultural product deliveries to the EU, with a total of €7.96 billion.
At the same time, Ukraine became the leader in the growth of supplies for this period. Compared to the same period last year, agricultural products worth an additional €1.5 billion were delivered to the markets of EU countries (+23%).
As for the largest importers for the EU from January to August 2023, Brazil (€11.89 billion) and the United Kingdom (€10.1 billion) also made it to the top three.
In total, from January to August, EU countries purchased agricultural products worth €107.4 billion (-3%).
