Specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense demonstrated components of Russian weaponry to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

During a special event attended by the President of Ukraine and foreign ambassadors, Main Intelligence Directorate experts showcased to Prime Minister Carney the technologies used by the Russian military-industrial complex in drones and missiles.

Among the displayed samples were machine vision and artificial intelligence systems, LiDARs, CRP antennas, mesh modems, and other components, as well as downed Russian drones, including Shahed and Delta models.

Most of the presented weapon components are of Western or Chinese origin, clearly illustrating the Russian military-industrial complex’s critical dependence on imported equipment and parts.

“Systematic international coordination will make it impossible to circumvent sanctions and will increase pressure on the aggressor state,” emphasized Shyfr, a serviceman of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate .

Additionally, international partners were introduced to the War&Sanctions analytical platform—a digital tool that allows tracking the use of Western components in Russian weapons and countering attempts to bypass international sanctions.

The Components in the Ageressor's Weapon section of the portal is regularly updated with an electronic database of new samples analyzed by Intelligence Agency specialists and research institution experts.

The Main Intelligence Directorate continues to uncover the secrets of Russian weaponry, identify its components and manufacturing partners, aiming to increase pressure on Russia and limit its capacity to continue the war.
