On the night of December 3, Ukrainian drones attacked an oil depot in the Tambov region, the regional governor Yevgeny Pravyshov reported. According to him, debris from the strike caused a fire at the facility.

According to the Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilnova+, the attack hit the Nikiforovskaya oil depot in the village of Dmitriyevka, located about 45 km from Tambov. The depot has 14 storage tanks with a total capacity of 10,440 cubic meters, storing diesel fuel. The facility belongs to Rosneft and until recently was part of Tambovnefteprodukt, the largest supplier of fuel and lubricants in the region. At the end of November, the Tambov organization was merged into Rosneft’s Voronezh subsidiary, Voronezhnefteprodukt.

Also on the night of December 3, Ukrainian drones attacked an oil depot in the Voronezh region, regional governor Alexander Gusev reported. “As a result of the downed UAV, several fuel tanks were slightly damaged. No fire occurred,” the governor said. He added that there were no casualties. Gusev did not specify which depot was targeted.

The day before, on December 2, Ukrainian drones struck a Rosneft oil depot in the city of Livny, in the Oryol region, about 140 km southeast of Oryol. A fire broke out in two fuel tanks.
