The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, together with the Centre for Countering Disinformation, has published the personal data of 16 more Russian war correspondents and propagandists on the War & Sanctions portal.

This was reported by the Defence Intelligence press service.

The individuals listed are involved in the information campaign supporting Russia’s war against Ukraine. They report from combat zones, raise funds for Russian military units participating in hostilities, and encourage enlistment into their ranks.

The list includes the following Kremlin war correspondents and propagandists:

  • Valentin Gvozdev – a war correspondent for Channel One. He reports directly from Russian army positions, produces propaganda documentaries, and serves as a speaker at the “Young War Correspondent School”;
  • Oleksandr Talipov – a former Ukrainian border guard who defected to Russia in 2014. He runs the Telegram channel “Crimean SMERSH,” which collects and publishes personal data of people living in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories who hold anti-war or pro-Ukrainian views;
  • Oleksii Zhivov – a volunteer-propagandist who promotes the Russian unit “Española” and raises support for it;
  • Oleksandr Malkievich – one of the organizers of media broadcasting in occupied Ukrainian territories, founder of the Foundation for the Protection of National Values (FZNTs), which operated in the interests of Yevgeny Prigozhin and supported Wagner Group operations in Africa;
  • Mykhailo Zvynchuk – a former Russian Defence Ministry press service employee and the founder and administrator of the Telegram channel “Rybar.”

The information on all 16 individuals is available in the “Voices of the Kremlin” section of the War & Sanctions portal.

Also noted: the “Champions of Terror” section includes data on former Ukrainian athlete Nikita Krylov, who has repeatedly expressed support for the terrorist groups DPR and LPR. Since 2015, he has trained in Moscow and this year publicly competed under the Russian flag after obtaining Russian citizenship.

The “Voices of the Kremlin” and “Champions of Terror” sections are part of Ukraine’s efforts to counter Russian propaganda, disinformation, and influence operations. To date, they include profiles of 259 identified individuals.
