In June, Ukraine's national debt increased by 52.71 billion UAH in local currency terms, or by $1.16 billion in dollar terms. As of June 30, Ukraine's national and guaranteed debt totaled 6 trillion 167.97 billion UAH, or $152.16 billion, according to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
Specifically, the external debt of the state and guaranteed by the state amounted to 4 trillion 456.38 billion UAH (72.25% of the total national and guaranteed debt), or $109.93 billion. The internal state and guaranteed debt stood at 1 trillion 711.59 billion UAH (27.75%), or $42.22 billion.
The state debt amounted to 5 trillion 850.15 billion UAH (94.85% of the total), or $144.31 billion, including:
– External debt: 4 trillion 207.57 billion UAH (68.22% of the total), or $103.79 billion. – Internal debt: 1 trillion 642.58 billion UAH (26.63% of the total), or $40.52 billion.
The guaranteed state debt of Ukraine was 317.82 billion UAH (5.15%), or $7.84 billion, including:
– External debt: 248.81 billion UAH (4.03%), or $6.14 billion. – Internal debt: 69.01 billion UAH (1.12%), or $1.7 billion.
Previously, as of May 31, the national and guaranteed debt stood at nearly 6.12 trillion UAH, or $150.99 billion. Over the month, it increased by 104.68 billion UAH, while decreasing in dollar terms by $0.53 billion.
In April 2024, the total national and guaranteed debt of Ukraine increased by 86.17 billion UAH, or $0.47 billion, to reach 6 trillion UAH.
