As of March 31, 2024, Ukraine's state and state-guaranteed debt amounted to 5 trillion 924.25 billion hryvnias or 151.05 billion dollars.
This information was reported by the Ministry of Finance.
According to the Ministry of Finance, during March, the debt increased by UAH 434.31 billion in the national currency equivalent and by 7.36 billion dollars in the dollar equivalent.
In March, after a hiatus, Ukraine began receiving international assistance in the form of long-term loans.
Specifically, the following amounts were provided:
• $4.901 billion from the EU as the first tranche under the transitional financing instrument of the Ukraine Facility;
• $1.626 billion from the World Bank under guarantees from Japan and the United Kingdom;
• $1.471 billion from Canada;
• $881 million from the IMF.
