On the Eastern front, during the past day, Russian assault units launched a series of attacks on Ukrainian positions. As a result, it became impossible to maintain some of these positions.
This was reported by the Khortytsia operational-strategic group.
It was stated that the Russian troops attempted to break through the defense near Shevchenko, south of Storozheve, southeast of Uspenivka, east of Trudove, and on the outskirts of Dalniy.
It was also noted that Russian forces assaults occurred in the area of the southeastern outskirts and in the southern part of Kurakhove. Khortytsia group reported that all attacks were repelled, the occupiers suffered losses, and retreated.
However, according to the military, as a result of intense fire damage, some of the Ukrainian forces' fortifications sustained significant destruction, making it impossible to hold certain sections of the front.
Additionally, Khortytsia reported that the Russian forces continued assault operations near Novyi Komar, southeast of Pishchane, and in the urban area of Chasiv Yar. With the support of armored vehicles, the occupiers attacked Ukrainian defenders' positions on the southeastern outskirts of Kostiantynopol.
The Khortytsia operational-strategic group emphasized that fighting continues, and the tactical position of the Russian forces remains unchanged. Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defense Forces are taking measures to improve their tactical position on the front lines.
