As of November 11, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated about three thousand square kilometers in southern Ukraine from Russian invaders.

As the press secretary of the press center of Operational Command "South" Natalya Gumenyuk, said on the air of the telethon, the Command of the Defense Forces of Ukraine is aware that there are still units of the Russian troops in these territories, which "probably will try to create sabotage measures."

"We continue to work in this area. Therefore, we are in no hurry to announce the liberation of territories. However, the (liberated) area has already increased tenfold. If the previous day we talked about 260 square kilometers, today it is more than 3,000 square kilometers of liberated territories," she said.

She also stressed that there are still territories where Russian invaders can remain.

The Russians left behind a lot of mined areas and "traps."

“There is equipment (abandoned by the invaders). It is dispersed. They tried to evacuate the bulk and moved even those alternative crossings that were not provided for this. Our units recorded artillery installations, tanks, and armored vehicles. In the fields, we collect what is, what is suitable - we will definitely return as shells in the opposite direction," she said.
