Ukrainian defenders eliminated "Española" brigade's intelligence chief Vyacheslav Subotin with the call sign "Vykhidnoy" on the front lines.
This was reported by the Colonel Anatoliy Shtefan of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Russian media.
"Successfully neutralized: the intelligence chief of the 'Española' brigade Vyacheslav Subotin 'Vykhidnoy'," Shtefan's statement reads.
Additionally, his death was also reported by a so-called military correspondent of one of the Russian propaganda TV channels, Polianskyi. He claims that Subotin was eliminated on Sunday, March 3. He noted that "the circumstances are being clarified."
It is worth noting that "Española" is a military formation of the Russian Federation, created from radical fans of football clubs, some of whom hold neo-Nazi beliefs. Currently, the battalion is under the command of the PMC "Redut."
Earlier reports indicated that the Russian "Española" battalion began recruiting women to serve in its assault units. They planned to send them to war against Ukraine.
